I, and probably anyone else birding the Valley in Bloomington this morning around 8:15, saw and heard a sandhill crane circling over the east end of Long Meadow Lake, then heading southwest toward 77 and the Bass Ponds. Eye-level views from the overlook at the MN Valley Refuge visitor center. Not a common sight for me in the metro!
