This goes under the heading of unusual... There is an active Bald Eagle's nest in Stillwater in a tree less than 10 yards off of highway 36. Hwy 36 gets hundreds if not thousands of vehicles a day in this area. There are houses within 150 yards of the nest.
I first noticed the nest last Oct/Nov with the eagles in and around it. The pair of eagles appeared to stay in the area all winter. I saw the pair in January, February and March. They appear to be nesting now. I see one of them in the nest daily. Regards, Wayne
