Wesskyline Hawk Count- Today saw a very large movement (4,190) of raptors, mainly Broad-winged Hawks (3,837) at the Enger Tower site. Among them was a Black Vulture that was seen well, but briefly as it flew low over the tower at 4:40. Other migrant included two Swainson's Hawks and three immature Golden Eagles. There were 14 species raptor counted not including the local Peregrine seen buzzing some of the migrant raptors. Also of note were 85 Common Loons also migrating today.
