9/9/03 There was a single Sanderling present at 9:30am at the beach on the North end of Little Rock Lake in Benton County. Little Rock Lake is located South East of the town of Rice in the North Western portion of Benton County. Access to the Beach is in Benton Beach Park. There were a few other species of shorebirds present and also a nice wave of Warblers in the park. @ Sanderling - Benton County, possible first county record.
