What a day! The unofficial total from the Main Overlook is over 100,000 hawks for the day, of which over 99% were Broad-winged Hawks. This is more than twice the previous one day total of 49,615 (18 Sep 1993).
During this spectacular flight we also recorded the 2 millionth raptor to fly over Hawk Ridge. Happy Hawkwatching!
