O.K. this is not earth-shaking news, but birding has been a bit dreary, so... This morning (11-4) a red-necked grebe was buddied up with a pied-billed grebe at the north end of Lake Harriet. 76 tundra swans were still on Lake Calhoun (Hennepin County)
