I took advantage of the nice weather on Tuesday afternoon to take my
usual walk at the Pet Trails(Murphy-Hanrehan, Scott County). Birds were
very hard to find, but I did have:
American Pipits - I was able to count 22 birds in the
group
Lincoln's Sparrow - Haven't seen one there since
Oct. 16
Gray Catbird - Haven't seen one there since Oct. 3
Both stragglers were agitated and seemed to be asking for help. I hope
they both make it to their wintering grounds.
