Hello, fellow birders: In just an hour and a half this afternoon on the State Fairgrounds and the farm fields associated with the University of Minnesota's St. Paul campus I observed some great birds, even considering that a huge antique car thing was going on at the Fairgrounds:
bobolinks, 4 males and 1 female loggerhead shrike (inferred:it was pretty distant but by the calendar . . .) American kestrel Cooper's hawk eastern kingbirds song sparrow clay-colored sparrow chipping sparrow common yellowthroat yellow warbler Val Cunningham St. Paul, Minn.
