This morning Leslie Marcus, Linda Felker and I enjoyed 3 1/2 hours of Warbler
watching at Wood Lake Nature Center in Richfield. They were moving high, low,
and everywhere in wave after wave. We saw 12 species of Warblers, with many
Bay-breasted, and Canada Warblers pushing through, and the loud metalic chinks
of several Norhtern Waterthrush. It was a great morning to be out birding, and
the paths at Wood Lake offered quite a bit of shade, and a cool breeze.
