Another opportunity is to attend the Legislative Reception and Forum on the
same date at the same address, the Four Points Sheraton on 400 Hamline Ave. N.
in St. Paul. It starts at 5 p.m. with free hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. 6-7pm
is the program with the presentation of 2004 Protect Our Waters Agenda which
will contain the legislative proposals from MEP for this years session. This
will be followed by comments from Agency Commissioners and Q & A with
legislative leaders. This session is free and open to the public.
This is an exciting event, just to be with 100's of kindrid souls from most
of Minnesota's environmental and natural history organizations. Buses will be
bringing in members from outstate. You can really feel like you are a part of a
movement that is organized and doing GOOD stuff. You also will be encouraged by
the messages expressing the feelings of some of your representatives.
