Today I went back to look at the swans in Monticello. I was looking over the birds and soon I found a Black Duck in with the mallards...it looked pure, but I didn't have my scope. Then after a little while I noticed a Snow Goose sitting on the ice. It was a juvenile blue phase. It soon got up and walked around, and was feeding with the mallards and Canada Geese. There were, as always tons of Swans. Anyway, I didn't relocate the White-fronted Goose, although I looked. Ben Fritchman, Long Prairie
