On Friday, November 28, 2 Great Gray Owls were seen on Aitkin County Road 18 near its junction with Pietz's Road (320th Place) at about 4:00 P.M. And on Saturday evening, November 29, a single Great Gray Owl was seen about 200 yards south of Pietz's Road on the snowmobile trail. Also seen this weekend were several Pine Grosbeaks, Common Redpolls, 5 Northern Shrikes, 3 Rough-legged Hawks and a few Bohemian Waxwings were present in Ironton. Warren Nelson
