Phil Chu just called me reporting a BRANT at the Paynesville sewage ponds in Stearns County. These ponds are just on Stearns County Road 33 just north of town. The Brant was associating with a large group of Canada Geese, and these geese were flying back and forth between the dike at the south end of the ponds and the North Fork Crow River.
