As a newcomer to the lists, but veteran of other lists with "restrictions", I think it makes sense to keep the mou list more focused and encourage folks to subscribe to mnbird for more general bird discussions. It would help to give a link or instructions for subscribing to the complementary list to make it easier for those who do not already subscribe to both, especially when making this suggestion to a newcomer.
