I drove through about 10 miles of Washington County and then through the Lake Elmo Park Reserve. In about two hours I observed 41 species. There were four pair of Common Loons on Lake Elmo (best seen from the East side of the lake). In the park I found several Eastern Meadowlarks, a Brown-headed Cowbird and three Trumpeter Swans (one was an immature). Outside the park and north a few miles I found about 20 Wild Turkeys, three Wilson's Snipe and a pair of Green-winged Teal. Bob Holtz If you are too busy to go birding, you are too busy. -------------------------------1081358437 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <HTML><HEAD> <META charset=3DUS-ASCII http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; cha= rset=3DUS-ASCII"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2800.1106" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY style=3D"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #fffff= f"> <DIV>I drove through about 10 miles of Washington County and then through th= e Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
