Connie Brunell and Leslie Marcus called this morning, 16 April, from the Lake Byllesby in Dakota County to report finding an ibis. They observed the bird from the cemetery on the northwestern side as it dozed on the shore across the water and just to the east. From the description it is most likely a White-faced Ibis but because of the position of the bird with respect to the sun they could not (yet) see all the critical field marks for a positive identification.
