This morning Leslie Marcus and I found an adult male Long-tailed Duck at the 180th St Marsh in Vermillion, Dakota Co. It was a striking male without it's tail almost filled in to breeding plumage, what a sight! It was on the south side of the road, in the second set of ponds going east. From US Hwy 52 going south turn left (east) on 180th St, and follow it a few miles and you will drive right to it.
