I just returned from the Castle Rock sod farms with my son Grant, where we observed 6 Buff-breasted Sandpipers. The birds were on the west side of Hwy 3, approximately 1 mile south of 86. The birds were on the edge of the cut sod, and across from the house with the old style picket fence. A first for me. Watch the traffic.
