The Townsend's Warbler was still at the Linwood Lake location in Anoka County on Friday evening. Connie Brunell, Leslie Marcus, Diane Anderson and I were fortunate to find the bird at the south end of the pine area about 5:15pm. This is the same location as the noontime spotting. This is where the trail does a hairpin turn (note the sharp turn caution sign at the turn). The bird was seen quite high in the trees from the trail on both sides of the hairpin.
