I looked for the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at 40th Ave. West this morning from 7:15 to 7:45 am without success. There was a lot of bird activity (Yellow-rumps, sparrows, etc.), but it was overcast and rather dark so maybe the bird is still around. Seems like there are plenty of mosquitoes around to eat.
Sharon and I also looked yesterday evening from 5:45 to 6:30pm, but it was starting to get dark and it rained for about half the time. We saw at least one of the Short-eared Owls flying around. Jim Lind Two Harbors
