In addition to the pair of Eurasian Colared-Doves seen in the City of Lynd a few weeks ago, I observed a nest building pair of Eurasian Colared-Doves in the City of Russell this afternoon. They were building in a spruce tree in a park across from the Amoco station in town. I believe these are a separate pair from the birds seen in Lynd. Eurasian Colared-Doves have been seen regularly during the past few years in both towns.
