My 12 year old shouted "Hummingbird, hummingbird, hummingbird" at 7:20 this evening. He then waited for it's return, and at 7:26 he shouted, "there it is again!" He and his younger brother are going to participate in the Birdathon for the first time this year. They can't wait. Our walk this morning got them excited when Hazen (12) spotted a roosting Barred owl and exclaimed, "Whoa." This is going to be a great year.
