5/18/04 Checked out the St. Peter Sewage Ponds Yesterday and relocated the American Avocet reported earlier. The bird was observed in the NW pond. I also checked out the Sleepy Eye Sewage Ponds and observed over 100 Wilson's Phalarope's and 5 Red-necked Phalarope's there in addtion to at least 4 Sanderling's. Had a wonderful walk at Seven Mile Creek County Park as well. I hiked trail number one and all of trail number Eight. The highlights were 3 Morning Warblers and numerous Blackpoll Warblers.
