Jim Lind just called to report a Black Vulture he saw this afternoon around 4:00 along Hwy 61 in Lake Co. It was near the Gate 11 Road in the Encampment Forest area, which is about 7 mi NE of Two Harbors. It was with a group of Turkey Vultures that flew back into the woods and out of sight as Jim approached in his vehicle. But he thought they didn't go far and may well return since they appeared to be feeding on a roadkill.
