Bird People, Is it unusual to see cedar waxwings in South Minneapolis in the summer? They have been around since spring migration. Although mulberries are ripe locally, I witnessed half dozen circling and hovering, swallow-like, over Lake Hiawatha's exit into Minnehaha Creek last evening. I noted that they were snatching insects on the wing.
