This evening there was a single Buff-Breasted Sandpiper present at the Purgatory Creek wetland in Eden Prairie. It was observed from 7:10-7:25 pm on the more distant of the 2 grass-covered mudflats when looking from behind the Flagship Corporate Center. Also present were 11 Caspian Terns, including 1 begging juvenile. The wetland is southwest of the intersection of Hwy 5 and Prairie Center Drive. Doug Kieser Minneapolis=20
