Howdy All, I observed a 30 - 50 bird flock of Snow Buntings in Rochester today near the Northern Hills Tallgrass Prairie. It was fun to see a beautiful sign of winter. One of my students said how they liked them because they were not "wussy" birds, like the ones that go south for the winter. I thought that was funny.
