Chet Meyers writes: After a week's absense (probably just hiding) the Richardson's cackling goose is back in Calhoun/Harriet area. There are now over 200 Canada geese, so it's a little more of a challenge, but the bird does "jump out at you" when you see it. If you can't find it on the lakes, drive around Calhoun and look for grassy areas. This morning it was in Lakewood Cemetary which is parallel to the east shore of Calhoun.
