Joshua and I birding in and around the Cotton area today between 7 and 9:30 am and located at least 23 individual Great Grays, 12 individual Hawk Owls, and 1 Barred Owl. We also saw scattered Rough Legs, Shrikes, Bald Eagles, as well as Sharp Tailed Grouse (on 29, 1 mi N of Meadowlands) and a single Red Tail (1 mile N. of Cotton on Hwy 53).
