Observed a Great Gray in Cook County on Thursday, Nov. 25, at about 2 p.m. while driving east on Forest Road 325 approximately 1.5 miles east of Forest Road 152 (in the vicinity of Stickle Creek). This area is west of the Gunflint Trail and just north of the South Brule River. Watched the bird from the car for 20 minutes as it preened in a tree along the side of the road. Just returned to my computer and am sending this report for those recording GGOW sightings.
