I had a request as to where American Coots are being seen, for the Raptor Center to release a rehabbed Coot tomorrow. I am not seeing any Coots right now, many of the marshy areas are freezing up. Can anyone advise me of where Coots are still being seen in the Twin City area? We wish this bird could be released with its own kind. Please respond direct to me, off-list. Please let me know only if you are certain Coots are being seen there right now, so we can have a plan to release this bird. Thanks.
