Jeff Dankert's information about state line markers is helpful, but I don't recall seeing from the rest stop any green buoys at the south end of L. Pepin. I remember only three red buoys. Possibly consult a 7.5 or 15 degree topographic map which show the state lines. Available on line? Fred Lesher, LaCrosse
