For those doing the CBC in Pine Co; Leslie Marcus and I found 2 Northern Hawk Owls in Pine County today. The one previously reported East of Kerrick, and State Hwy 23, on CR 46 was seen at 1:30 pm, .9 miles from the RR tracks hunting on the south side of the road. The second Northern Hawk Owl was seen hunting on Pine CR 49, and CR 162 where they intersect with CR 47 about 3 miles south of the Carlton/Pine County Line Road at 2:05 pm.
