Hi, We had 42 species on today's Fargo/Moorhead CBC, plus an additional two for count week. The highlights were on the Minnesota side of the river and included a brown thrasher and the best waterfowl results we've ever had: 2,913 Canada Geese, 134 Cackling Geese, a first-ever Trumpeter Swan, 390 Mallards, a first-ever Canvasback, a ruddy duck, 3 Common Goldeneye, and a Northern Pintail. For the count circle as a whole, we also had a count record 9 Bald Eagles.
