Greetings,
I will be leaving balmy Maryland for Minnesota tommorow for my first winter
trip to the state. I will be staying about an 1/2 hour south of St. Cloud and
will unfortunately only have one day to bird. Does anyone have any suggestions
of places to look for winter finches and owls that can be done in day? I have
read through Kim Eckerts book and was thinking of heading up to the Palisades
area in Aitken county, but that is over 3 hrs. away and was curious to know if
there was any good locations a little closer. I also plan to check out St.
