These are the times that bring sharply to focus the Wisconsin birding 
community, where one listserv serves all birders, in peace and harmony, 
and has done so for almost nine years now. Beginners, experts, alerts, 
discussions, arguments -- all on one list that began and continues life 
as an independent effort eagerly welcomed and accepted by the state 
birding organization (Wisconsin Society for Ornithology). It must be 
the cheese.
