I also saw Sandhill Cranes today, 27 march, 7 flying low across Hwy 19 a couple of miles east of Winthrop, Sibley Co., Minnesota.
I again invite any MOU'ers (or others) to join the South Dakota Ornithologists' Union Meeting in Vermillion, SD on 20-22 May 2005. Our guest speaker will be Doug Pratt, artist of many bird books, including most of the National Geographic Guide. Should be a good meeting. Let me know if you want more information.
