My husband and I saw a black-crowned night heron at Black Dog this morning. Perhaps it is just me but I haven't seen one of these birds in years! There used to be a number of them around the parks in Roseville but they have been absent for at least 5 years or more. Are they pretty scarce or do I just not know where to look?
