The husband saw the gyrfalcon this morning on his drive to work around 7:15 am. He said it was perched on a clump of cornstalks, about 20 feet from the road, right near mile marker 216 along Highway 55. Of course it was gone when I drove by. This evening there were two Red-tailed Hawks in the area.
