I hear that you're taking information on Great Gray Owls in the state. I wanted to report that I saw a Great Gray Owl in Itasca county on Saturday evening about 8:00 pm in a small tamarack/ spruce bog. I watched it for about 5 minutes while it was hunting but it flew away to the north when another vehicle drove by.
The location was 16 miles north of HW 169 near intersection highway 7 and county 51. The bog is about 1/4 mile west of highway 7 on county 51 (north side). Thanks, Brad Springer
