Today friends Molly, Dale, and Ben from Deep Portage and I birded around Dakota County and enjoyed several new arrivals. We did witness several large flocks of Greater White-fronted Geese fly overhead from Byllesby Regional Park. We also had an American Woodcock flush up from the path there. While coming down into the 180th St Marsh we saw 3 Western Meadowlarks roadside and they were singing. A great day to be out birding!
