Quiggley Lake still completely frozen, but our nesting waterfowl has started to return. Canada Geese have been staking out territories for about a week. Yesterday we had a Mallard pair and a single drake. The pair at least are still here. I also scared up a female Wood Duck when I went out this afternoon.
