This is the second consecutive Saturday that a 1st-winter Iceland Gull has been observed in midafternoon in southern Washington Co. Today, though, it was at a more accessible location, Pt. Douglas, which is across from Prescott, WI. This location affords some potentially good photos with the sun being to one's back. Last Saturday there was a 2nd-winter Glaucous Gull there, but it wasn't present during today's observation.
