The Northern Hawk Owl was observed again on Sunday along the 371 Bypass in = Brainerd/Baxter, just north of the CR 48 intersection, on the east side of = the highway. The Owl seemed oblivious to the heavy traffic rolling down = the highway, which I think was from the Eelpout Festival in Walker. A = small clump of spindly aspen right along the fence of the right-of-way was = a preferred perch. =20
