Sherry Phillips saw a Northern Hawk Owl yesterday on St. Louis County Road 110, 1.1 mile south of the Skibo Vista Overlook. This is about 10 miles south of Hoyt Lakes.
I also just got a message from Nancy Jackson who reports seeing a total of 4 Hawk Owls along CR 110 south of Hoyt Lakes on February 12, and 3 yesterday (no specific locations given). CR 110 is also known as Forest Highway 11. Jim Lind
