We saw an osprey in a platform nest about 5 mi. North of Brainerd along Hwy 210/169 Saturday evening.
A Chipping Sparrow showed up at home (Ottertail Cty.) today. Saw some odd behavior by 2 Canadian Geese on Friday morning on the Deer River, MN settling ponds. They were all flattened out on the water with their necks outstretched & swimming slowly away from us and each other. Has anyone else seen this? What were they up too? Hiding? Amy Drake
