Mark - I thought of that and searched the tree branches all around the nest. On Sat we were there for nearly an hour and a half and in all that time only saw the one baby. We did see two crows bother the nest, although the little one in the nest didn't seem too concerned and eventually the crows left. Also saw a killdeer.
