At 9 AM this morning (Sat), I found one Buff-breasted Sandpiper in mixed flock of Yellowlegs, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Baird's Sandpiper, Stilt Sandpiper and Pectoral Sandpiper. They were all feeding on the south shore of the South Landfill Reservoir in Olmsted County. However, the entire flock flew away after about 20 minutes of observation and did not return.
