Miriam and I just returned (4:00 p.m. 9-4) from visits to both sod farms. Castle Rock was a no go. Jirek farms in Empire had some nice watery places, but they may be gone in a day or two. We saw over 100 killdeer, 4 Amer. golden plovers and 1 Wilson's snipe. That was it. Please post good shorebirds concentrations in the Twin Cities area. Ceht Meyers, Hennepin County
