A morning up the shore, with some good migration provided me with these two= =20 gems. LECONTE'S SPARROW at Flood Bay, in Lake County, north of Two Harbors. One= =20 juvenile was on the edge of the marshy habitat that is accessed by walking= =20 southwest from the parking lot. A juvenile RED-HEADED WOODPECKER seen briefly at Stony Point this morning.= =20 The bird landed on a birch tree near the parking spot at the overlook, hop= =20 around for a few seconds and then left, heading southwest. Nothing compared to the menagerie of rare birds Mike Hendrickson discovered= =20 at Superior Entry this morning, here's a preview: Sabine's Gull (2),=20 Long-tailed Jaeger, Arctic Tern, and Pacific Loon. The birding is out of sight in Duluth!!
